A new mountain trail “Chestnut Trail” has been inaugurated in Deçan, as part of the Via Dinarica international trail, which starts from the town of Deçan and continues in Bješkë e Madhe to Lake of the Heart.
The mayor of Deçan, Bashkim Ramosaj, through a post on the Facebook social network, emphasized the importance of this path for tourism and recreation, accompanying it with some photographs.
“This path is a natural wonder that is now easily accessible thanks to the hard work and two-year dedication of the Directorate for Economic Development – Tourism Sector, within the #NaturKosovo project. This new trail offers new opportunities for tourism, recreation and nature exploration. We thank all those who participated in the promotion of the new path in Deçan, who had the opportunity to experience the rare beauties of this region up close”, wrote Ramosaj, Telegrafi reports.
